It was an announcement by the Government that was made and the DWP has yet to say how they are going to respond, so it is impossible for us to give you a definitive answer. You also don't know the result of your tribunal but I can say, that members rarely report an increase in the length of the award at an appeal. Sorry not to be more helpful, but you will have to wait until the picture starts to become clearer.
