Morning, My 20yr old aspie is now off ctc, and im told we have to go down the dreaded uc route..can he not just claim esa? Im his appointee i think - i was for his pip claim - would this have changed? I also have 2 other kids 13/14 - one is on dla - so id be glad to avoid this upheaval if possible!
It's not really a choice, if your postcode is in a Universal Credit Full Service area then he can only claim UC, if not then he should be able to claim ESA.
