Congratulations on the award, well done.
The period of the award forms part of the Decision so can be challenged but I have to warn you that I can count on one hand with fingers to spare the number of times that the length of the award has been increased,
You will need compelling evidence that there is no reasonable prospect of your conditions changing (improving or deteriorating) in the period that you think is more reasonable.
Although you would only be challenging the award length, the DWP as part of an MR are entitled to review the whole award, it's very unlikely that this would effect the points currently awarded, but it remains a possibility.
