Well after all that I had a telephone call at 9.30 a.m. today cancelling my 2 pm appointment due to 3 staff members calling in sick. It has been rescheduled for 17th January. now. Guess there's no point in getting stressed, was quite surprised I had been given such an early appointment as had expected to wait some considerable time.
