ESA WCA incoming. Take any new documentation?

This might sound like a dim question, but is JSA still being offered, or would it be UC instead?

Would I have to ring the DWP to ask what is available in my area?

Assuming it is now UC. Do I assume the process, i.e applying at same time as MR, is the same?

Actually I just run through my info through the entitledto benefit checker, and it seems I am now in a full UC area as of Nov 15th. I guess that makes most of my above questions redundant. Apologies, probably should have checked beforehand.

You need to get face to face advice before making a claim for UC, it may not be in your long term interest to claim UC if you believe that you have a valid claim for ESA.

May I ask a) who should I seek advice from? and b) how would/could claiming UC impact on ESA claims?

If I understand correctly, it would not be advisable to put in a claim for UC at the same time as MR. Possibly leave it till if the appeal didn't go in my favour? I also assume UC is not like JSA, in that one can submit a fitnote and have it put on hold for 13 weeks.

I read a while ago a lady arranged recording of the assessment and equipment didn't work when she arrived cynically myself I thought convenient.
She'd taken her own in case of this and claimant produced duplicate copy.

I've read within the guides that verbal application for MR must be followed with a letter within 4 weeks stating not to look at MR until u receive a copy of the assessment and will put your response in writing with reasons for disagreement. My GP has signs they won't do reports for PIP ESA and UC. I've paid 50.00 for all records which is as good as long as it is fairly current. Depends on relationships with GP and I'd pay personally but seems it won't sway them.

I have downloaded all the guides and I'm in a couple of FB groups which is good to read of people experiences. I worked as a nurse all of my life until October 2015 and find the benefits system a minefield.

I'd certainly read the B/Wide guidance on MR and tribunal also recording.

I've also contacted NMC nursing and Midwifery Council about people are being told can't report nurses as they are disability analysts. If they lie they have the code of conduct 2015 and are nurses and I've also contacted the CQC regarding the same.
I Don't know if you saw the assessor on channel 4 documentary who was a paramedic.they all have professional bodies to report anyone you think has lied.

Sorry. I have a....well, it's not a habit....but part of my condition is overthinking and trying to working out every single possible permutation. It's exhausting for me and can be tiresome for others.
