Hello, has anyone had or to have an assessment by a foreign company/doctor in response to the completion of ESA forms sent into DWP? I live in France and had an assessment after 16 years of receiving IB then ESA Support group. This was arranged in Feb this year 2016 and I have heard nothing since. The doctor doing the assessment could not speak English only German, could not understand the DWP ESA forms [which we had filled in and he had a copy] and could not understand why an assessment had been authorised when the French neurologists, GPs and IRM [MRI] scans proved what I have. He wondered how he could over ride a senior neurologist in France. Interesting move on Brexit? or a start of it.

Steve: Have you heard of anyone having to attend assessment outside of the UK?
