There as much use as a chocolate fire guard

My first assessment went through within 2 weeks,3 years ago with atos.

A tad worrying because i need to stay in the support group ie transitional protection from IB to ESA due to a war pension

The delay is not reflective of any recommendation that Maximus might make and your ESA will remain in payment at the current rate until a new Decision is made.

I rang 3 weeks ago to push it through quicker, still no luck,i just want a paper trail and outcome of entitlement, some times you feal like a 3rd rate citizen by theses people,
little do they know i took the MOD to court years ago and beat them,Can i threaten them with non-compliance or negligence
Or just leave it alone an Que Sera, Sera?

There are no legally defined timescales for an assessment to be completed within so I think the opportunity to pursue the matter legally is very limited.

Finally, after all this time, i got a phonecall today asking me to attend a F2F in Nottingham City Centre in 48 hours time!!
Naturally I declined, as it's far too short notice, and as the biggest problem for which I am off work is Panic Disorder/Agoraphobia, I naturally need someone else to take me there and my anxiety will be sky high!
So i explained to the appointment booker that I had previously had a doctor's letter in 2013 stating that I would be unable to cope with F2F so could I have a home visit?(Although in 2013 no home visit ever happened and they awarded me the ESA based solely on my ESA form)

The appointment booker said I need a fresh doctor's letter which I have just requested, and hope that even though I am now with a different doctor after mine retired, that the new one will cooperate and it will get me a home assessment.
My question is, how often do people get awarded a home visit and can it be tape recorded?
