First of all I would like to the Moderators and everyone else who has supported me through this process. I am pleased to tell you that my letter arrived on Friday morning and have been awarded the enhanced rate for both components are until 2022 ( I will be 70 by then)
I was already on the DLA High Rate for both components until 2019. Now I want to share with you the untold stress worry upset and the effect this has had on both my husband and me. I suffer with Mental Health Problems as well as physical disabilities. At times I had contemplated suicide it's been that tough. My claim for PIP started last August and after my home assessment at the end of February it took 7 weeks for the decision. I am only sharing this with you to say.. If I can see this through, anyone can. I am glad it's over and I can get on with my life. I never rang to push them for a decision just let it take it's course. Not easy but got there in the end. Keep up your subscription because you never know when you will need the fantastic support of the B&W team again. Once again a big thank you and good luck to both

Congratulations on the award.

Having to confront, in detail, your conditions in order to complete the form will stress even the hardiest of us, well done for making it through the process.
