Blue Badge? was created by Zoe
I haven't received any updates re my pip application and/or likely medical from Atos, but I was thinking it might be time to apply for a blue badge regardless. Having said that the problems I would need it for are severe enough to warrant it, but intermittent vs constant (though present more often than not). I was wondering if anyone knows whether issues need to be constant or not for a blue badge application?

The Blue Badge assessment is not dissimilar to the old DLA Mobility test, if you have a variable condition you will need to explain this.

If you Local Authority decides that an assessment is required this may take weeks to arrange, applying with a qualifying PIP award should not take more than about 10 days, so it may be worth waiting to see what happens with your PIP. If you decide to go ahead then the following page allows you to make an online claim.
