It is just 7 days, irrelevant of weekends.
In fact, the 7 days can also include Bank Holidays !
You are supposed to get 7 clear days notice, but the 7 days is often taken from the date of the appointment letter, which you could challenge if that eventuality meant that you didn't get 7 clear days.
Feedback from members leads me to believe that when one receives a face to face appointment letter, the appointment is at least 7 days hence from when they receive the letter.
