ESA AND CARERS ALLOWANCE

Hi all

I'm after a little advice

my daughter is almost 19 and lives with me.

she has been awarded PIP for the next 5 years and I claim carers allowance for her

I don't claim any other benefits apart from carers allowance

She is currently at college but is thinking of leaving as she is struggling to understand and fit in etc

what I would like to know is can she claim ESA and hopefully get into some king of support group and if so would this effect my entitlement to carers allowance for her

Yes she can claim ESA.

Your carers is based on her PIP award so is not affected.
