It has been 15 months since I have started on contribution based ESA at £72 per week.I had to contact my MP in order to get an assessment appointment as a year had passed. Then first appointment was cancelled the evening before, then the next appointment was cancelled the evening before and low and behold my appointment which was for 1.15 today was a cancelled at 12 o'clock.bearing in mind they ask you to be there 10mins before. My daughter in law had dropped her baby off and was on her way to pick me up as she was taking me as I have anxiety problems.I am at my Witt's end I can't believe how they treat people. My daughter in law said the women who cancelled the appointment just didn't care and her attitude was awful.Has anyone else had their appointments cancelled? Is this the norm.Is there anyone I can go to to complain or get something done bout this.
You can complain if you feel you are unhappy with your treatment by the assessor. See the sections on complaining in the General FAQ: www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/faq-100034/general
