Hello,

I have just received a letter about the ending of my DLA and inviting me to claim PIP, if I wished. I understand that I need to phone them first to start the process and answer some questions over the phone.

I would be grateful, if you could tell me what those questions are. Sorry, if you've already answered that somewhere on the forum, as I couldn't find it, but want to be prepared...

Hi Bee,

I've just done the same.

Basically have handy your bank details, national insurance number and the name, address and contact number of GP or specialist who treats you.

The lady was really nice on the phone and it's all just to confirm name, address really.

She was reading off a script. There are no tricky questions or anything.
