Scotboy wrote: I asked in my appeal letter to be placed back on esa assesment, I have received the acknowledgement letter, I will get a fit note that follows on form the previous ones end date and submit when back on esa. Do I have to call DWP and request separately to be also placed on esa while on appeal or will DWP confirm that? thanks

Yes, you need to specifically ask to be placed back onto ESA.

Thanks, so even though I asked this specifically in my appeal letter, I also have to call DWP and ask specifically?

This is the benefits system!!

Did you expect them to be helpful, organised, caring...??

You can wait and hope for the best. Or ring.

Your appeal letter would have been submitted to the Tribunal Service. This organisation is totally separate, and independent, of DWP and would not be able to organise the reinstatement of your ESA claim.
