From pip assement to letter? was created by fastmoggy
Hi all, wife had the PIP assement a year early like most! And still waiting the dreaded letter. I've noticed quite a lot of people get 'that letter' in 2 weeks . At the moment she has past that milestone which is causing her extreme stress and anxiety just waiting for the postman to bring that letter!. My question is....I know they quote 'up to six weeks' to get that letter.
has anyone else suffered this type of uncertainty, waiting for that dreaded letter?
Thanks for reading and we will update the group when the 'inevitable' happens

Based on recent posts the majority of recent Decisions have been made in about two weeks, some have been less and some have been slightly more, more extended delays have typically the result of problems with the assessment report, we are still seeing a number of reports being sent back to the Assessment Provider as inadequate.
The only way that you will know what is happening is for you to contact the DWP.
