My son who lives in a flat close to us recieves DLA, his payment this month is late, the first time this has happened. He went for an interview with ATOS regarding changing to PIP last week. They told him he would be notified of the decision in 6 to 8 weeks. He cannot survive without this money and it has made his illness worse due to the stress and anxiety. Has anyone a similar experience?

Even if there was an adverse Decision on his PIP claim, the DLA would still remain in payment for four weeks, he needs to ring the DWP to find out what the problem is.
