The PIP2: Questions re its physical format was created by MariW
It’s 1st October 2015 so I suppose the big PIP rollout has begun for all lifelong/indefinite DLLA awardees.
One of numerous things that is troubling me is the paper PIP2 form. I’ve only seen one copy (over than two years ago) and was more concerned with what the claimant had written that scrutinising the pages and general format.
I cannot write so am totally unable to deal with paper forms. The most I can do is to ask my carer to write a few key points into each text box and refer to page-numbered attachments. It’s going to be hard work for both of us so I’d welcome a few answers regarding the “physique” of the form:
1. The specimen PIP2 appears to be A4 is size. Is the actual PIP2 A4?
2. On the specimen PIP2 the lined text boxes are 20 x 15 cm. Is this true of the actual PIP2
3. The most recent specimen PIP2 is 35 pages long with the space for the claimant’s signature appearing on page 33. Again, if this true of the actual form?
4. Further to the above question, when the claimant’s signature appears on page 33 are the subsequent pages 34-35 returned to Atos or Capita or torn off?
I’m sorry if these questions sound bizarre but it’s even more odd that the DWP didn’t think of people with several manual limitations.

I am not aware of any material differences between the sample PIP2 form and the one that claimants receive and as far as I know, nothing is torn or removed from the form.
