waiting for a reply after pip medical

waiting for a reply after pip medical was created by Redleg321
Sorry if this has been asked but i could not find a link,I had my face to face medical 2 months and have not heard anything since,as this is my first claim for pip is there a time scale for replies or do i just wait.

Welcome to the forum, PIP Decisions should take 2-3 weeks after the medical so I would contact the DWP office that has been dealing with your claim to find out what is going on.

Just got my reply from dwp,i got no points for every answer i gave,they must make there own answers up.

Sorry to hear this, if you want to challenge the Decision then have a look at the PIP Appeal guide, alternatively, or in addition, you can make a new claim for PIP, there is no waiting time.

Hi do i have to pay another £19 to get access to know how to appeal because i dont know what to do I cant seem to click on the appeals information.

Hi Rl321,
If you have a current active subscription, you should be able to access our PIP MR/Appeals Guidance on : This Page.
It can be found under the heading : PIP Appeals
Left click you mouse/pad on any blue writing (Links) to access the information.
See also : Mandatory Reconsiderations Explained
&
Disability Rights UK Factsheet - Appeals and Mandatory Reconsiderations.
You can download and save the guidance to your P.C. if you wish.
As you will see, if you wish to request a Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) of the adverse PIP decision, you have one month from the date of the PIP decision notice letter to do so in writing.
Sending Documents to the DWP.
