I hope this post will be allowed as this means that Capita who carry out PIP medicals will be able to access NHS Patients personal medical records, unless patients contact their GP and ask that to ‘opt out’ so that only personal medical records will be passed to NHS staff, and not to private companies such as Capita, or indeed any company, including insurance companies and the like UNLESS the patient asks their GP to not pass any medical records to anyone except NHS staff anywhere in the UK, which means patients who are on holiday in the UK or in EEC or EAA will know that their personal medical information can be only passed to a health care professionals.
