Withdrawing an appeal

From 21 August 2015, the rules on withdrawing appeals have been changed (Statutory Instrument 2015/1510). If an appeal has been withdrawn, both you and the DWP decision maker can apply for it to be reinstated.

This application must be received by the tribunal within one month of the date that you
were sent notice of the withdrawal or, if you requested the withdrawal at a hearing, within one month of the date of the hearing (whichever date is earliest).
