Hi all I know you haven't heard from me for a while, I lost my dad December last year , also been having counselling, anyway guess what now, I have had a letter for me to go for a face to face interview on Sept 1st, why has it taken them 13 months to send for me for my first face to face, can I ask them if they will let me have it over the phone. I thought they would maybe leave me alone but hey ho not my luck, I got 27 points and got put in the WRAG group also I am 62 the beginning od October.
Any help will be gratefully received

Hi CV,
Sorry to hear about your Dad passing !!!
Sometimes WRAG claimants are left alone until a certain period is left on the "Prognosis" (the recommended period before reassessment) of their WRAG award.
If you have limitations that restrict your ability to travel, or preclude you from travelling to your WFI at JC Plus Offices, you can request that the interview is carried out over the phone, or even in your home.
JC Plus are supposed to make Reasonable Adjustments such as this for "disabled" claimants.
However, unfortunately, you cannot insist on this, and whether they will carry out the interview over the phone or not is at the JC Plus Adviser's discretion.

Thank you Bro58 , my Wrag award was for 2 years, so I suppose I better get ready to go on the merry go round again. I am waiting at the moment for surgery on my knee my cartlidge is playing up, got to see a specialist in October, had physio and it didn't work.
Thanks for your input Bro58.
