Claiming Carer's Allowance

I've just been awarded PIP so my Mum has been looking into claiming Carer's Allowance (as I live with her & she cares for me as I'm not well enough to live independently). I am also in the support group of income related ESA.

However, looking online it says that the person they're caring for 'may lose some of their benefits if carer's allowance is paid'.
Is this just referring to those that get the 'Severe disability premium' (I don't get this) or would it also refer to the 'Enhanced Disability Premium' of £15.75 that I get extra a week in my ESA?

I assume that ESA are aware that you live with your mother !!

If they are, this will not affect payment of the Enhanced Disability Premium (EDP) for you being in The SG !!

It may affect you being paid the Severe Disability Premium (SDP), as to receive payment of the SDP not only must you be in receipt of a Middle or Higher Rate of DLA or a PIP Daily Living Award, you must also be entitled to payment of IR ESA, live alone ( or be classed as living alone) and no one must be receiving Carers Allowance (CA) for providing care for you.
