Although they sometimes refer to aspects of PIP medical reports as evidence for ESA and vice-versa, they are totally different "benefits" with different qualifying criteria.
PIP is an in work benefits and you can receive PIP whilst in full time employment.
It assesses your Care needs, Daily Living and Mobility limitations.
ESA assesses your "Capability for Work", only.
