Will it be of more benefit to me to send a copy of my Esa50 to the Desicion Maker as well as Maximus.
Thankyou for your great website.

Hi j,
Welcome to Benefits and Work
Some people do send a mirror copy of their ESA50 + extra evidence to The ESA DM as well as as sending the copy back to Maximus.
Even though the DM is not medically qualified, it ensures that The DM has access to exactly the same evidence as Maximus.
This used be done a lot more in the past, as there was a period when ATOS were "losing" ESA50's.
If you are to do this address it FAO The ESA Decision Maker at the Benefits Office/Centre on your most recent ESA letter.
I would also include a covering letter stating that this is an exact copy of what you have posted to Maximus (on date xx/xx/xx) and that The DM does not have to forward it to Maximus.
Otherwise, they may forward it to Maximus thinking that you have posted it to them (The DM) by mistake. :
Sending Documents to the DWP.

When we attend for the assessment with Maximus, will the assessor have a copy of the ESA50? The ESA 50 was completed 10 months ago

Hi,
Welcome to Benefits and Work
If your forum name is also your real name, you may wish to change it to maintain some anonymity.
This can be done quite easily by following the instructions on this FAQ :
My full name is showing, how can I stop it?
They should have, and they should have read it.
However, if the ESA50 is circa 10 months old, will it be current with respect to your medical conditions and resulting limitations at the the time of the assessment ?
Have there been any changes or deteriorations in your medical conditions and resulting limitations since the time of filling in The ESA50 ?
Have a look at : This Topic.

Please reply to this topic if you have any other queries.
