Pip stopped before current claim ends was created by Claire36
I Was due payment today for PIP I get low rate living and mobility. It's baffling as I was award last year until March 2016 this was backdated from November 2013.
I was recently sent new forms to fill in and return which I did and atos received from DWP. Atos returned these back to DWP without seeing me and DWP informed me last week a decision wouldn't be made until a month before my current claim runs out.
Today I contacted them and they informed me a number of people have been having this problem I asked wether I would receive payment until March 2016 but they couldn't answer me.
They have informed me that they will look into this and call me back within 5 days. They then went onto say I guess I would like to appeal.
I am really confused as I thought I would be paid until March 2016.

I'm sorry but it's not clear from your post whether you have been told that your current claim has been closed or not?
Have the DWP said that they are not expecting to pay you?
Was it suggested that this could be a payment problem and that payment will be made once it has been resolved.
Why did they ask if you wanted to appeal? There would have to have been a Decision for an appeal to be required, did they tell you that one had been made and what it was?

I've had no information from them to say my current claim is closed.
They couldn't tell me why I haven't been paid they said I've overpaid first but I said I have been receiving the same money from when I was awarded standard living and standard mobility.
I had new forms sent out to me a month ago which I returned and said a decision wouldn't be made until a month before my current claim runs out in March 2016.
Can DWP end PIP awards early?

If the re-assessment that you have just sent your forms back for found that you no longer met the criteria for an award then it is possible that that Decision would result in you claim being closed immediately rather than it continuing until 2016, however, there needs to have been a Decision made and this does not appear to have happened.
I think you need to contact them again on Tuesday to see if you can find out more about what is happening, at the moment any advice I can give is purely a guess.

Well I received a letter regarding my pip and I failed by 2 points on living and 2 points on mobility for re assessment. I copied my last pip form just changing medication, new diagnoses and who I see.
My problem is that on my mobility they say I can walk further than I have said and unaided. I walk with a stick and some days can just about get up out of bed. I didn't have a face two face interview can I ask them to see me?
I did send in evidence from occupational health which stated I had difficulty sitting and standing.
In a year they think I have got over stage four ovarian cancer, a damaged nerve in my back from surgery in 2006 and that chemotherapy has caused serve joint paint which I'm waiting test for this will be done in July. I also see a therapist as I suffer from anxiety.
What's the best thing for me to do? Many thanks in advance
