Take heart both, and, as said, get the Welfare Rights people to help again.
One thing I would always advise - ask your GP or Consultant for an up-to-date report or letter of support. Submit these to Man-Recon entitled 'FURTHER MEDICAL EVIDENCE', and somewhere in your letter, refer to these as being the 'BEST AVAILABLE MEDICAL EVIDENCE'. These are DWP terms and can help 'trump' the Atos assessment.
It helps to send a short letter of Formal Complaint to Atos that the Report misrepresents both your answers and your condition on the day, (if you have the stamina). Between my wife and I, we've had five of these reports - it is an utterly scandalous process and rarely is the report a true reflection of the claimant's position. Best wishes to you both.
