pip tribunal and tax credits was created by bobby
Hi i first applied for pip in sept.13. Assessment date sept 14, mand appeal oct14 and Tribunal March 15. I was awarded high care and standard mob. What a relief. In the meantime i was unable to stay in my home due to finances. Staying temp. now with family.
Can i claim for my lost working tax credits since 2013. I have not received the letter yet toconfirm award. Can i also claim my council tax since this date.Feeling a bit put out as i could have afforded to stay in my family home of 23 years if the system had been more timely. Any help would be really appreciated. x

It may be possible to have the missing benefit paid but I think you will need to help of an experienced advisor to liaise with HMRC and your Local Authority so I would advise you to get face to face help if your can, do an internet search for "welfare advice" with your postcode, town or county.

Congratulations on your sucess at tribunal. Im in the same situation as you although the DWP are dragging their feet. And havr failed to respond with by the 28 day deadline, they then had a 14 day extension but still havent replied. Do you mind me asking did the DWP respond to the tribunal prior to your hearing?
