PIP Tribunal was created by Elizabeth
Hi All,
After being on DLA for 4 years I am now due to go to tribunal for my transfer hopefully to PIP. I suffer from menieres, depression anxiety IBS brain fog and insomnia. It seems that Menieres is not an illness that is commonly dealt with. I wondered if anyone else has had any dealings with it through this awful process plz? Any advice would be welcome as I am really dreading the tribunal .

The Tribunal will consist of three members, a Judge, a Doctor and a lay person with experience of disability issues.

They will primarily ask you about your day to day issues and the help you need to do them and any problems you have with going out and/or walking.

Your underlying conditions are important but they will only be considered in support of your limitations, not in their own right. The panel will be aware that there can be considerable differences in the effects that two people with the same condition might have.
