DLA to PIP

Good Evening.

Can anyone give me any idea of the timescales involved with the crossover from dla to pip?

I was on low rate dla. I had someone from atos come round to the house a couple of weeks ago and she intimated that it would all be sorted in a couple of weeks but since then I have heard some horrendous stories about it taking months to be sorted.
