A reassessment usually involves another ESA50 +/- face2face interview. Due to the curtent backlog of work, many reassessments have been postponed. A compliance interview is rather different and looks at your general eligibility for the benefit. Have you been asked to provide any documentation (such as bank statements)?

I'm SG and had one of these letters from my local Job Centre last week. Put me in a panic as I'd just gone through a year of hell in the PIP and ESA process after 35 years working full time.

I called the Job Centre on the number given (unusually a direct line to the Job Centre, Sutton Coldfield, 0121-480 3708). Initially they were adamant that all SG would have to comply. When I explained I was very much in the care of mental health NHS services, and at high risk, they backed down and said I would not have to attend.

I got the lady's name and recorded the phone call in case they later deny this and sanction me!
