Im a little confused about something on the PIP form
When your asked a question, you normally get an option to say Yes, No or Sometimes.
So would yes mean, all of the time ?
So if for example you were asked about if you find it difficult to go outdoors, but you are affected by an illness say 60% of the time, would you answer yes or sometimes?
If you feel that the tick boxes do not allow you to answer in a way that accurately describes your limitations then cross them out and mark the form "see below" and explain in the comments box or any attached pages.
In principle "yes" means all of the time at the level specified on the form, "no" means never, "sometimes" means that you are restricted some of the time but you are not restricted for the rest.
So if you are always affected, but the degree to which you are affected varies, then "sometimes" does not accurately describe your limitations.
Also, all activities must be done "reliably" this means
• Safely – in a fashion that is unlikely to cause harm to themselves or to another person. • To a necessary and appropriate standard – given the nature of the activity. • Repeatedly – as often as is reasonably required. • In a timely manner – in a reasonable time period.
So you should consider this in your answers
I hope this explains it.
