ESA renewal? was created by Jasmine3234
Hi I was recently awarded high rate mobility and care from a DLA renewal, (thank you for your help also)

However, I was due an ESA renewal towards the end of last year and while Im very pleased I haven't had to fill another horror form in, I just wondered why I haven't been contacted. (Im in the support group)

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi J3234,

Great to hear of your successful DLA renewal !!! :cheer:

Thank you for letting us know. :)

I don't really want to rock the boat though.......... as you can imagine.

I certainly don't want to draw attention to myself.

Hi J3234,

It is entirely up to you !! :)

I do understand you not wanting to contact them.

However, it highly unlkely that phoning The ESA Call Centre phone number would trigger a reassessment.

You will only be talking to a Call Responder who will be able to view your file on-screen.

They do not have the power to instigate a re-referral/reassessment.

Re-referrals to ATOS, or whoever is carrying out Medical Services in the future for The ESA WCA, are initiated by The DWP ESA WCA Team based in the Benefits Office/Centre that administers your ESA.
