Hi I needed help I revived a dla renewal pack 3months ago as my dla end 10th February 2015,I completed forms and posted them within 3days of reciting them.i didn't recipe any acknowledgement letter so I phoned them last week and was told nothing had been revived and my money will stop on the 10th and they will send me another renewal pack,and it could take up to 11weeks to get me a decision from the day they receive it,and that's just the minimum time scale could take longer.basicaly I will be out of pocket,without a career because the money she needs to get to me and needs will also stop.i have not done anything wrong but will have to suffer,thinking about it is making me ill already. . There is no way to extend your current award and the DWP are not required to make a new Decision within a specific timeframe. The only good new I can give you is that should a new award be made is should be backdated to the day after your current award ends.
