ESA Evidence was created by sharonsims37@hotmail.com
Currently wading through the ESA50 with help from your excellent guides and tips in this forum. Can I ask a question on evidence? I have Consultants letters going back the three years when my incurable progressive condition was formally diagnosed. I also have letters from an independent Ocupational Health Doctor who found me unfit for work following which I was medically retired last year. I was only going to include the most up to date, however they all back up what I am saying on the ESA50. Is it overload to include them all?

While the evidence is relevant to your conditions and in particular the criteria for the benefit you are applying for then you should certainly think about including it, the key to a good submission is making that evidence easy to find through good indexing and references in the text.

Obviously, what you include is up to you. In your situation, I would certainly want to submit the initial diagnosis, however long ago that was made, and something recent to show what the situation is now.

Thanks for the advice. Had planned to include an index but now will also go through the form again and make sure I reference properly.
