Please can you help me - PIP F2F Appointment !!

In regards to a home assessment:

Our address is quirky and it requires rear access and not on the main road where a sat nav would bring an assessor. I have a few questions on the assumption that the home assessor will probably not ring us to locate us on the day!!

These might be obvious questions but many thanks for your help!

1) My partner is ringing today to verify if the home assessment has been actioned for sure and to verify that tomorrow's appt has indeed been cancelled! Should directions be given now on the phone? If so, should this be followed up in writing with sending directions? It's not hard to find but it would require preliminary advice!

2) Wait until I receive an appointment letter & my partner ring ATOS customer care at that point?

3) Assuming that my partner won't be able to contact the assessor prior to the appointment sooner than later so it is logged would probably be advisable?

4) I would still be anxious about the assessor not getting these directions on time so would leaving a notice on the front door - advising our locations at the rear still be advisable despite giving directions?

Our property cannot be accessed from the front where a sat nav would bring someone it is a rear access property.
