Welcome to the forum

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

The first thing you need to do is to check with the DWP that your form has been received, it is essential that you confirm this as even a late form can result in your claim being closed, it can take as long as 10 days for the form to reach the correct department but I would not wait this before checking.

Once they have processed your form onto their system, the DWP will send your form the Assessment Provider covering your area for them to carry out an assessment, assessment times are extremely variable it could be a few weeks although Christmas and the New Year will undoubtedly push it back, but it is far more likely that it will be 3-4 months before you hearing any further and it could be even longer.
