Hi,

My assessment with Capita has been cancelled on five occasions on the day the assessment was due. Normally they phone my carer and say they are behind by several hours, so they regret they must cancel. This is melting me down as I have to have my carer with me and my CPN, as I have a phobia about meeting people I don't know, so when the appointment to see me is made, it takes me weeks for my medical team to build me up to deal with the situation, I have self-harmed each time they have cancelled and feel suicidal, who can we complain to. 3 letters of complaint have been sent by recorded delivery to Darlington, not one reply. My carer phoned Capita, and would you believe they said they had no idea who deals with complaints, I don't feel strong enough to deal with this torment, they are so incompetent.

I would also consider involving our MP

Contacting your MP

Even though it may be upsetting for your to do so, I would make both parties fully aware of the impact that these cancellations are having on you.
