Hi,
Sorry just been looking at a previous post.
I get Carer's Allowance but not the Carer's Premium. For some reason I thought it wasn't possible to get the two simultaneously and that getting ESA precluded you from getting one or the other.
I currently get:
ESA at £45.25
Carer's Allowance at £71.35 (was £61.35 until this week?!)
and PIP (Enhanced care, no mobility)
I don't seem to be getting the Enhanced Disability Premium. I also don't think I'm getting the Carer's Premium (unless it's that extra £10)?
So when I ask someone to phone up tomorrow- do they need to ask about Enhanced Disability Premium and Carer's Premium?
Thanks!

The extra £10 on your latest letter is for the Christmas Bonus which is a one-off payment every year because you are receiving CA.
From your figures, your total payments are;
£45.25 + £61.35 = £106.60
minus the normal ESA Assessment rate (bear with me)
£106.60 - £72.40 = £34.20
Which is the same as The Carers Premium.

Oh ok so I am getting the Carer's premium and should just ask about Enhanced Disability Premium?
Thank you for helping again.

Actually does it look (from the amounts) as though I'm receiving Enhanced Disability Premium in my ESA and Carer's Addition with my Carer's allowance?
