transfer from DLA to PIP was created by Stephen Forster
Hi, if someone is currently on DLA and being reassessed for PIP, would they have to hand back their power chair which they got with the mobility award with DLA, until their reassessment for PIP has been finalised?

Hi SF,
As any DLA recipient who is invited to claim PIP would continue to receive their current existing rate of DLA until 4 weeks after the date of the PIP decision, the answer should be "no".

If your chair is leased from Motability and it is about to expire then you will need to contact them about the matter.
