This is a full renewal of your DLA claim so you must treat this as if it was a new claim and provide all of the evidence that you have available.

Whilst I cannot say that the letters you have will not be of value, DLA looks at your Care and Mobility needs, your ability to work is not considered, except in these circumstances, it is perfectly possible for a DLA claimant to be working full time, providing that doing so is not in contradiction to any stated Care or Mobility needs.

Even though they have already provided letters for your ESA, there is no reason why your GP and psychiatrist should not provide new ones for your DLA if willing. Your care plan may well be of help.

It is really important that your renewal forms are returned to the DWP by the required date or you risk your claim being closed and your having no choice but to claim PIP.

Depending on how long it has been since your last DLA assessment there may be additional evidence that you can include from your medical records at your GP practice, also if the letters just talk about you inability to work then it may be difficult to use them but if they go into the reasons why and those reasons are relevant to you Care and Mobility needs you may still be able to get some benefit from them but I would not rely on them solely.
