It's an advantage as it has the potential to diminish the assessment report, especially if there are issues of the claimant being unaware of their condition, the downside is that the DWP or an appeal panel, if goes that far, may now order one be held, whilst this should be to the advantage of the claimant I don't think I am aware of anybody who has gone through a face to face who has not afterwards thought to themselves, I wish I had said...
