ESa renewal

I am receiving contribution based ESA.I had to fill in an esa50 form last December for a review and have heard nothing since. Have rang atos up a few times to see what is happening with review. All I get is there is backlog. Does anyone know how long I should be waiting before o hear anything?

Unfortunately, you are not alone !!

Several of our members are still waiting for a decision circa 12 months or more since returning their ESA50 to ATOS.

There is no prescribed time scale for how long a WCA or reassessment should take.

It may be extraordinary, but ATOS have given you accurate responses to your queries.

There most certainly is a huge backlog !!!!

You could continue to contact ATOS for updates, and if you wish to exert more pressure to have your reassessment expedited, you could complain to your M.P.
