You should be able to move this appointment but it will count as one of your two appointments so you will have no option but to attend the new one, so you should make sure it is for a date that you and any support you need is available.

Taking note of Gordon's advice you can contact ATOS regarding this from the link on their webpage.
Under "WCA Customer Service:" to the right of the page :
www.atoshealthcare.com/claimants
I would keep all correspondence regarding this in writing (by e-mail) so that you have a paper trail.
You should be aware that if you divulge that you are "going away" (on holiday), this may be taken into account when you have your assessment.

Rees wrote: Hi, Thanks for your reply, my wife rung them this evening and was told that they can,t make appointments for more than 4 weeks in advanced because the system won't show them. They told me to ring next week when more dates should be available. When my wife rung back to see if it would be better leaving it until the end of next week she spoke to someone else who told her I had to be seen within 3 weeks as this is the timescale they have been given for me by the DWP which is a bit strange as I have been waiting 9 months. She told my wife to ring everyday to see if there are cancellations.
If the DWP are involved and I stress the "if", then you also need to inform them that you will be going away, claimants should do this anyway, but if they are pushing ATOS to arrange an appointment with you and this cannot be done within the available time then they may start chasing you as to why!
