Atos Medical Advice Please

One year after returning my ESA50, I have now been given a date for my latest WCA with the useless atos.

At my previous WCAs I had a representative from the mental health charity Rethink present as my advocate; however they informed me today that they no longer provide this service.

So I am now over-worrying that if I attend the WCA on my own, atos will wrongly come to the assumption that all is well and I can cope etc etc.

Does anyone here have any suggestions as to other organisations/persons I can ask to attend with me. Please do not say Citizens Advice - where I live it would be easier to get an audience with The Queen than an appointment at CAB.

I am based in South London, so any local organisations that you may know of will be more than welcome. Thank you.

Hi k9, I'm assuming you have tried a computer search putting in 'welfare advice' or 'advocacy' plus the area where you live? Have you tried MIND? Don't forget that the person who comes with you does not have to be a professional, have you asked family and friends?

Thank you Mrs H. Yes I have emailed Mind to enquire if they provide advocates. Also my sister-in-law has said she will come with me. So fingers crossed I will get through this stressful episode once again.
