ESA re-test without new ESA50 form was created by Mark
Hi I am new here and have a question,
I have been called in for an atos wca re-test, and have been given 2 weeks notice, but I have not been sent an ESA50 form to fill in. However I was sent an ESA50 form in November 2013 which I had to return by dec 2013. Will they be using the information from that form even though it is nearly 8 months out of date, or should I have been sent a new one?
I am very worried about this as my last wca retest was in may 2013 and I was found fit for work and had all my money stopped including rent etc, but after I wrote to them with more evidence and debunking the atos report and my intention to apeal the decision was overturned in my favour. This took over 6 weeks and was like a living hell for me so here I go again its a nightmare! I hope someone here can help with my question above.
Kind regards Mark.

Hi Mark and welcome to the forum. On the assumption that you are also new to the site, this link should help you find your way around.
Welcome to Benefits and Work
Yes, I suspect that this assessment is linked to the ESA50 that you completed last year. Both DWP and ATOS have huge backlogs of cases, we have seen this kind of delay quite often.
If your condition has worsened since you submitted the ESA50, you should llet both DWP and ATOS know about this. We would suggest that you write these down and send a copy to both parties and also print off a copy to take with you to your assessment. You should ask the assessor to read this before they start the assessment.
Sending documents to DWP or ATOS
If/when you have any further questions, please reply to this post and we wil do our best to help. You will find it easily in future if you bookmark it, or make it a favourite, on your web browser now
