Mandatory Reconsideration for ESA -2 was created by Irene Riley
I received a call from my DWP 19th June 2014...he also overturned my nil points assessment despite medical records...letters from my consultants and my GP...
He told me I would be back to my ESA and back pay pay would paid last week...which it did but an odd amount...I hadn't been paid for 6 weeks...
I have had no letter of confirmation about going back on my ESA...
I rang the DWP to ask why I got that amount...I have been put in the Work Related Activity Group...I was in the support group before...
I have rung DWP to ask...no computers...
The interview to get me new skills to get me into work will last an hour...good luck with that...can sit or stand for any amount of time...can't use my hands just one finger...I have been so depressed since my decision...medication has doubled and can't stay awake...
Annoys me that I was 60 in March 2014 and should be on retirement pension...
I have been to see my MP Frank Field...

I have moved your post to it's own topic so as not to confuse the original poster, if you can please try and reply to this post as it helps us to see what problems you have been having.
Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is
Welcome to Benefits and Work
In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ
My full name is showing, how can I stop it?
If you believe that you should be in the Support Group then you can appeal the Decision to place you in the WRAG. The first stage to your doing this is to request a Mandatory Reconsideration.
The DWP should write to you to confirm the WRAG placement and the rates of benefit you should be receiving, if they have not done this in the next week or so then I would contact your local office and request they send you these letters.
If you feel that you would be unable to attend the JC+ appointment then you can contact the advisor and ask for it to be held over the phone, unfortunately, whether they allow this is at their discretion. You need to be aware that your benefit can be sanctioned if you fail to attend, see
ESA Sanctions
If we can help further, please reply to this post and we will do our best to help you.
