Like D.E.B, I use a Kindle Fire tablet with the default Silk browser. Posts are made from a PC but I use the Kindle for almost all forum/ site searching and reading because it is the only device I can use lying down.

I get the system message about browser recognition every time I visit the forum and as I move from one thread to another. Furthermore, looking at the screen left to right, I cannot see the number of replies to a post. The time the topic was started is not viewable. The time since the last reply is also unseen.

I would like to think that other things have improved (e.g. the search facility and the ability to find back posts) but the system alert about the browser as I move around the forum renders any improvements useless to me. I have seldom come across up-to-date sites that do not display properly when accessed via the Silk browser.

The change severely restricts my use of the forum. It's quite upsetting.
