Terrific news, well done
I suspect the multiple DM's may be a reflection of how few Decisions are being made at the moment as everybody is stuck waiting for an ATOS assessment, I have a vision of a gang of DMs fighting to process the one claimant file that has arrived in the office that day, if the reference to Finding Nemo makes any sense "mine, mine, mine, mine..."

Hi I,
You may receive a letter informing you of the arrears owed to you along with a breakdown of how your ESA is worked out.
This could arrive, before the back pay, or after it, so no definitive answer, I'm afraid.
It could take 6-8 weeks for the payment to be made.
Keep checking your bank account, and if you wish to chase it up, you could write and/or ring The DWP :
ESA PHONE NUMBER DWP : 0345 608 8545 Press Option 3 for ESA.
Sending Documents to the DWP or ATOS

The Question is, do they send you a letter to confirm this, or do they just do it automatically without notice. Or do you think it could be there is a back log, and it takes longer than normal.
