Pip capita home assessment joke was created by Jhicky
Hi all my daughter was supposed to have her pip assessment today at 10 how did it go? It didn't the assessor failed to show I phoned capita who said they had no idea what has happened. They phoned me back and said the assessor is not answering their phone so cannot give an explanation. They advised me to rebook for the 9th of May as they didn't believe the assessor would show. Obviously they had a piece of my mind what a shambles

Hi Jh,

I am sorry to hear this !!

You are one of several of our members who has been let down in this way.

You must be given 7 days notice for any new appointment, unless you agree to one sooner.

If you have any further problems, you might want to inform your M.P. : Contacting your MP

I had a letter over two weeks ago saying they will contact to make appt. so far nothing!
It all seems very vague. Does anyone know how long this should take ?

Hi n,

Although the situation with PIP is said to have improved, I am afraid that we cannot offer any meaningful advice on this.

Some PIP claimants who first applied last summer are still waiting.

My best suggestion would be contact the PIP Claims helpline for an update, and your M.P. if you do not receive any form of meaningful information.

I have read that assessors have to do several assessments in one day and have to travel long distances between each one. If this is true it does rather set them up to fail.
