IB TO ESA MEDICAL

Hi Everyone, just to let you all know that I passed my Medical with Atos and have been placed in the WRAG section. I have only just heard from the Job Centre who telephoned my mother this morning to advise me, and will send all the relevant paperwork through. I understand I am now bing migrated to ESA and will keep the same amount of benefit that I was getting on Incapacity but will be required to attend an interview at the Job Centre with an advisor to assertain if they can help me return to work. (Think this is what was said)

I am so glad all this is behind me, but not sure when I will be required to go through all this again? I couldnt have done it without all your help pages and support from everyone who has wished me luck with all this. Please accept my heatfelt thanks to all the advisors who have given me so much help and explained things in simple terms so that nothing else went over my head at the medical.

Thanks for letting us know the results of your ESA claim - and for your kind words about B+W

ESA awards are actually indefinite but you can get an idea of when to expect reassessment by phoning DWP and asking for the 'prognosis' from the computer screen. Alternatively, you could write and ask for a copy of the ESA85 (if you had a face2face assessment) or ESA85a (if there was no face2face).
